Why?

Sometimes you just have to ask God why?? WHY? Why does he let things happen to innocent children? I know somewhere inside of me that God has his reasons and often it is because of tragedy that people may be drawn to Him and learn to depend on Him and seek Him when they otherwise weren't. I have seen the faith of those whom tragedy has hit be a an amazing witness for Christ! But it is still unbelievable and hard to fathom! I posted a bit ago about little Sully losing his battle with leukemia and then I just read yesterday about little Dozer . No matter how a child may die it is one of the saddest things I can imagine and it does make me cherish mine all the more!

Computer Geeks and IPods

Well my husband is an IT guy and is always messing with our computers! And we get a 'new' to us computer about twice year. Usually because he is upgrading or something went wrong. So he switched to a different computer two days ago and I just reinstalled itunes and went to play a song and I had to give permission for this computer to play it. Well guess what that was my 5th computer! I'm not allowed anymore!!! I have an ipod too! So if anyone can tell me a player that I can use to upload to the ipod that isn't going to limit my computer use that would be great!! Otherwise this computer better not go anywhere for awhile =)!

Third Day

Not the band, but I do like them. Well I went to wake up my son for his third day of school and already he doesn't want to go! I can't believe it! I'm disappointed too! I want to protect him and keep him from any 'pain' he may feel at school. He told me this morning he got lost at PE yesterday. Basically he got left! I'm not ready to pull him out and homeschool him again quite yet! But still I was hoping for him to really like it. Mind you he is the shy and quiet type, though he can get quite loud at times! My daughter does seem to be liking her teacher and class okay though. SO that is good news! And my little 3 yr old is loving doing his school at home! He asks me if we can do it! Right now he is watching his Leapfrog ABC movie. Better go get a few other things done, while he is still watching!

A Busy Few Days

Well it has been crazy the past few days! Saturday I took two of the kids to a party 30 min away for 3 hours then came home and got ready to take my 7 yr old boy to a spend the night party at the Florida Aquarium! And yes I spent the night too =)! It was all really awesome, except for the sleeping on a very hard floor part! But where we slept was super neat, I'll put up some pics so you can see! And then when we came home yesterday about noon I got ready and took my oldest and my baby out to finish the school shopping! Because today was there first day back to 'normal' school in two years! And guess what.......... there is no school tomorrow! Hurricane Day! I'm not worried yet though, it doesn't look like it will be too bad here. And now for what you really want to see...

Where We Slept ~ hard to get the full affect from this pic but we had a sea turtle, large green eels and many fish swimming right above our heads!

Moving On!

Moving on with life of course! We had company last week... my Mother in Law and her husband. We had a pretty good time! We went to the beach one day(where several of us got burned despite the sunscreen) and to the zoo another day for a birthday party and then to explore. All three of my kids (that were old enough) rode the ponies there, and I believe it was my 3 yr old and 7 yr old's first time! Unfortunately my camera decided to stop working properly that day!

After we got home Saturday from the zoo, our little 3 yr old decided to have a yucky stomach bug! I felt so sorry for him, yet he never complained! And now he is better but my 9 yr old girlie came in a bit ago and whispered that she is losing her voice. I told her we'd find her a new one =)!

And well I hope everyone is well enough to start school next Monday!!
This will be my 9 yr old girlie's first time in public school in two years. She will be in fourth grade! And my 7 yr old boy's first time in public school EVER! He will be in 2nd grade. He did go to Pre-K 1/2 days at a private school when he was 4. But he is nervous, where my girlie is excited and looking forward to it. I'm afraid they are both going to be surprised at how much work they have to do. I have to go little Chubbers (my 6 month old boy) is starting to fuss in his exersaucer!

His Last Battle

Little Sully , whom I only knew from reading his parent's and grandparent's online updates about him, has gone on to be with Jesus. He will no longer have to battle leukemia and his parents no longer have to see him suffer. Yet I can't imagine how terribly sad they are right now! It hurts me to read about it, I as bawling when I read the news and yet I never even met him. Please if you read this join me in praying for peace and comforting for his family!
It makes me think twice before I scold my children unnecessarily and try and treasure every little bit about them. I want to hug and hold them all day long. Of course they don't want that, but I take what I can get!

Words of a 3 Year Old

So my hubby was holding my baby tonight and saying how his feet stink for a baby! So my 3 year old munchkin comes up and says "They smell like pickles" and giggles. And my hubby says no they smell like Mama's feet. And little munchkin comes and smells my feet and says "They smell like fresh apples" and then proceeded to hug me!
What a good little boy, learning young how to talk to the ladies (especially his Mama)!
