Well…. I read that darn book that everyone else in the world had already read! And yep I’m hooked or should I say I've been bitten! Already put the next book on hold at the library, too bad they are ALL checked out over the entire county! I wasn’t going to read this, it had sounded too ‘teenaged girl’ for me, but I guess it wasn’t that long ago that I was a teenage girl! Okay so I’m getting old and it’s been 12 years since I was a teenager! Yep that’s right! Okay I’m letting that sink in for a minute! But I was able to let my teenage years pass, now I’m waiting to find out if Bella gets to!

I just can't bring myself to read these books. Not sure why though, maybe I am afraid that I will like them! I did get sucked into the Harry Potter craze! :)
I got hooked on these books over the summer--I remember when my friend told me about it and she was shocked that I never even heard of it. Guess I lived in a bubble!
LOL... I wasn't gonna read the series either -- I'm not into "vampire" books -- but friends convinced me that they weren't so much about vamps as they were about the love story between Bella & Edward... so I gave the first book a try. And then, like you, I was "bitten" and had to read them all! I devoured them (ha!) last summer, and now own all 4. ;)
I will probably reread them eventually. My boss at work has read the entire series about 6 times already! LOL.
It's been about 12 years since I was a teenager, too, but I LOVED these books! My faves were #1, and #3. ;)

PS... I see you have "Thin Within" on your "now reading/recently read" list! Good book! Changed forever the way I view eating/weight loss. ;)
(in case you don't see the note I wrote you on my own blog's comments... here's what I said in response to your comment)...
I wouldn’t read the last of Twilight if you hadn’t read the middle books… wait and read ‘em all. It’ll make more sense. Yes, the two middle books build the story (book 2 is more about Jacob, and book 3 is about the history of the Cullen family), but you’d miss so much if you skipped them! This is my personal opinion, of course, but I think that the build-up (the tension of waiting for Bella & Edward to get together) is part of the enjoyment of the series.
And, yeah — I have a TON of blogs! LOL. I haven’t been really good at keeping up with all of them, but I try. It’s what I do. ;P
