A Walk Down Memory Lane

Wednesday's Walk Down Memory Lane

Come for a walk with me down Memory Lane!
And if you have a "Memory Lane" post, head on over to Scottsville to join in on the fun!

Time for some more of PJ today as I promised to do a few weeks to each kid! This is once again when he was four! He had managed to break his foot by jumping off of a JayJay airport toy! Bad mom that I am I took him to the grocery store before I realized he was serious about it being hurt (I did let him ride in the cart).  And I can’t remember for sure but I think he must have gotten his first cast wet and that is why he got a second one, but I sure can’t think of how that happened. I remember at first he wasn’t allowed to walk on it, and he crawled or we carried him everywhere, but after a few or so they let him walk on it! Looking at these pictures it’s strange to think Curly is that age now.

(I know this was his second because we still have it!)

Oh man! Knock on wood, we have NEVER had a cast in our family ...yet. ha ha ha

Amazing that with three boys and one tough girl, no casts.

We've had some stitches though.

Great post! He sure was a cutey pie!

I actually have 'folders' by year in my computer. But I delete all but my favorites once they're uploaded to the blog. The GREAT ones go into the folders, the rest get dumped. My blog holds it all. =0)

As for those pictures, they were just paper copies that have been on the refrigerator for years and were getting ugly and faded and water stains, so I scanned them in just for this Memory Lane post and then threw them away. Now they're in digital format preserved on my blog and that's it.

Hi!

You really have beautiful children! it is fun how they gave you little one such pretty cast colors.

Thanks for the guess on my picture…it was fun of you to play along.

Nan @ momstheword guessed it right, so I will paste her reply instead of typing my own….

You are seated on the right toward the top of the picture. You are smiling, wearing knee socks and sort of have your hands in your lap and you're facing the camera.

The one snapping her fingers is my little sister Joy. ☺
