Memories

Well time flies as you might know! I created a web page a few years back before I had heard about blogging! It was too much work and I didn't keep it up, but I wanted to post it here because evidently they are taking them all down and switching to a new server where you can drag and drop or something fancy! But I did this the old fashioned way (html, ftp). Some of the pics look all grainy because they were taken with an older digital camera. But there are some good ones and you can see my PJ's curly hair from when he was a baby and how he used to be so chubby!
I know some of you have seen this before but if you haven't or want to look again it's right here! Maybe I'll put a link on the side too!

Life

Well it's been about a week since I've posted! Funny to say that seeing how that seems like a long time, but not too long ago I was doing good to post once a week! Well of course life has been keeping me from blogging! We had a great Christmas! It was not over the top and we didn't have any HUGE events, which was nice. The kids got some stuff that they didn't really need (and a few things they did) and we got to enjoy some time with our close relatives! My grandma broke her hip two weeks ago and was in the hospital for a few days, then a rehab facility but made it home before Christmas! Praise the Lord!

My sister and her kids came back down for a visit to see my Grandma, so we had unexpectedly got to spend some time with her the past couple of days!

I have to tell you one of the 'kids' presents was a Wii from the in-laws, however my hubby and me have played it as much or more than them! I've got to stick a few pictures in so here's one my two older ones opening presents with their 15 year old uncle. He's a good uncle, always plays with them when we visit and doesn't complain too much when they won't stop attacking him!

And here is a shot that my husband and father-in-law thought would be great! I have a very similar shot of Blondie when he was about this age (that time encouraged by my husband and dad), I'm going to have to go dig out! Of course the bottle was cold, hence the look on his face!


Now I'm off to bed, so I can wake up in the morning! Don't worry my baby is not actually drinking beer! MORE pictures coming soon!

Not Me Monday

It's time for Not Me Monday again! Time to tell be brutally honest and tell all about what you've done or 'not done' this week! To see more Not Me Monday's click on the big picture above to go to MckMama's!
I sure didn't forget it was even Monday since my kids are out of school, I mean my husband still went to work this morning, so how could I forget it was Monday? Uh yeah I didn't!
And I'm not wondering why my computer underlines in RED all of my contractions, I'm not completely questioning if 'didn't' is even a word and I surely didn't go look it up, that's silly!
My little curly head would not eat his dinner last night, not even taste one bite of his spaghetti, so he went w/out his advent chocolate and of course we did not say that he couldn't eat anything else besides spaghetti! He did then not wake up this morning throwing up and I'm not feeling totally guilty for being so hard on him last night!
And Sissy is not sitting on the couch saying she's sick (in a pitiful voice) because she's coughing, because if she was I would surely not say "your fine" because she is playing around, showing off and eating!
And I'm not writing about stuff that is going on this morning because I can't remember anything else to tell you! And I'm not trying to think of some reason to throw in a picture! Ya know like the fact that I never let my baby play with remote controls and for some reason we don't have more remotes than we do items to use them for!

Memorizing Scripture

Well I was just catching up over at Bring the Rain and read this entry, I truly need to spend more time memorizing scripture. I've not memorized many new scriptures in awhile, so reading her post is a prompt for me to "hide his word in my heart". She started on the 14th and is memorizing Psalm 139 by January 1st! So I need to catch up a little, but am ready to start! Anyone else doing this or want to join in? Check out Angie's blog if you want more details.

Bibs

I just had to discuss out loud with myself of course what bibs are for! According to Merriam Webster a bib is a cloth or plastic shield tied under the chin to protect the clothes!
Well our's fasten behind the neck and are typically cloth.
Well lets think about that shall we! I put a bib on Joshy this morning and the first thing he did was rip it off, I reattached it and quickly shoved a bite of his baby cereal (mixed w/bannanas) in his mouth, so he couldn't get a chance to rip it off! That WORKED! Yeah, so I continued to feed him his cereal, now if you've never fed baby cereal to a child then you might not realize that it is like mush, sort of like oatmeal, but finer. So I fed him his cereal and he spits some out and grabs it with his hand and and then tries to rub it off on his shorts! I fed him some more till he decided to try and get the loaded spoon from me. I won, but he now had goop all over his hands which he promptly decided to play peek a boo with! So by the time I was done feeding him he had mushy baby cereal all over his shorts, on part of his shirt, on his legs, on his hands, on his face and in his hair! He got a bath! SO I think bibs are purely for adding to the laundry pile! And we won't talk about how big that pile is =)!

Not Me Monday

It's that time of the week again already! Can you believe it? It's time to tell the world about all the things I did, I mean didn't do this week! Ya know because I'm so perfect and all and I didn't do anything strange or gross or just plain wrong!

We did not have another plumbing issue within a few week period this past weekend! Because if we did I would have to take a bath with baby wipes and I wouldn't do that because that's gross! And you know I'm not still sitting here waiting for water because the plumber doesn't do Sundays! And I didn't stop and pick up pizzas last night because I had no running water and can not cook without it! And I did not reprimand my husband that he was supposed to save the flush for poop not pee! No, we don't discuss such things in our house!
And the 'no water' issue is not so stuck in my head that I can't think of one single other thing to write about! Ya know like the fact that I'm all finished with my Christmas shopping and have 'nothing' left to buy! Or like the fact that my 10 month old is Not trying his best to start walking as he takes steps from here to there and there to here! And I absolutely not frustrated that I've not been able to get any of my little one's not action on camera! Okay I'm starting to make no sense, I think it really might be time to start typing! OH, but I didn't almost forget to tell you that this wasn't my best picture I took of the moon the other night, even after taking two dozen shots and the moon didn't really look way cooler than this!

Blog Frog

Cute name huh? I want to say Bloggy Froggy, but uhm it's really called the Blog Frog! It's a relatively new site that is changing blogging forever (that's my take on it)! No seriously though, they help you to connect with other bloggers in several different ways. And for now I'm decided to put the who's really been to my blog widget over there on the side! They have a chat wall widget that looks pretty cool too that I may switch that one out for! Maybe if I could figure out to make my blog into 3 columns I'd do both. This is Lily, in case you haven't met her, she is a very good dog and puts up with a lot! She only runs away occasionally and really loves it when you rub her belly! She doesn't like tail or whisker pulling very much though.

Not Me Monday

Okay, are you ready to find out about how wonderfully perfect I am and all the things I 'don't' do during the course of a week?
Well we finally got our Christmas tree up this week, of course I didn't put it up while hubby was at work because I just felt it needed to get done so bad. And I didn't keep correcting the kids about how they were arranging the ornaments on the tree all wrong! Because that would be totally lacking in the holiday spirit department! And did I mention how there is not a few more tubs of Christmas items out waiting to be up still!
I didn't run to the store for a few things on Sunday to find out everyone in town was at this store! And I didn't get super frustrated while waiting to get by another 5 carts in the overly crowded store. I wasn't standing there waiting with an exasperated look on my face when I heard a "Hello" from a lady in my Bible study(and her daughter), because then I would have felt convicted for being so grumpy at the busy store!
My kids are not watching "Sid the Science Guy" while I'm writing this post because if so then one of them wouldn't be jumping from a tub of Christmas stuff to the couch over and over again! And I did not just got make him jump some more so I could get some pictures of it!


Oh yeah and did you know that not one of my kids has 'messed' with our Christmas tree yet! Aren't I lucky a mom?
Using the word Christmas so many times was purely an accident!

See I just had to explain these lovely pictures further! Notice how my daughter is smiling for the camera while holding on to the neck of her brother's shirt! Notice how her brother is NOT smiling, but has a look of pure agony on his face! Notice where both of their other hands are out of sight, by their hair! You know some type of hair pulling is going on! But still... a good shot! They do get along fairly well for a sister and brother 20 months apart in age.

Not Me Monday!

Well, well it's that time of the week again! Are you ready to hear how perfect I am? And about all the things I didn't do this past week? Let's see if I can think of any!
This morning after dropping the kids off at school I did not run into 7-eleven and get a small Cherry Coke for 1.60 when I could have paid that for a whole two liter. And I did not do that because I have no caffeine addiction whatsoever! And I did not leave the two remaining children in the car right in front of the big window while keeping my eyes on the car while dashing in with money in hand! Nope I'd never do that!! Just like I'm not ignoring my sweet dog wagging her tail at the back door wanting back inside right this very minute!
And did you know there is no possible way that my little Joshy could be trying to take steps because he is way to young for that! And in no way did I have to try and sneak that in this post because it's not about me!
And by the way I did not torture my children last night when they were all cranky by making them sit on the couch for pictures in clothes they did not want to be wearing! But if I did my children would be perfect angels and sit still while I took my gazillion pictures trying to find a perfect one. And then I wouldn't give up on the group picture and start taking individual hoping that might work out better!And these words aren't just an excuse to throw some pictures in this post!

And did you notice that I didn't spend a few hours trying to change my blog this weekend, because I had no difficulty at all because I know everything there is to know about html and xml and all that!

For the Record!

Well I do believe I've got something I need to note for the record today!! Are you ready? Do you want to know what I'm talking about? Well I guess you need to keep on reading then! It's about little Joshy, my not so tiny little boy who just turned 10 months old a few days ago! I was sweeping up in the bathroom tonight when he pulled up on my leg and then....took a step to the cabinet! I announced it but I'm not sure anyone believed me! Then maybe thirty minutes later I set him down on the ground(standing up) in front of his Daddy and he took about two and a half steps to him! It just looked like he could walk perfectly for a second! I was not expecting that quite yet! So for the record today was the day Joshy took his first steps!! It may be a bit before he is really walking, but he is definitely practicing!

Technical Issues

Well I was trying to change somethings on my layout and now can't seem to get any sort of background to work with my main column, not even a solid color! Any tips?
Anyways, I wanted to apologize for the current crazy look as I'm trying to get it all figured out! I may need professional help =)!
Updated: I figured it out, I'm still playing with everything and did give up on making it three columns, but I got most of my issues fixed! And hopefully by tomorrow I will have up a new Christmas header! Hopefully! It depends on if my kids cooperate for a picture! If you have several kids you know what I'm talking about, getting good shot of 4 kids is sometimes difficult, we may go for individual!

Thanksgiving

Well with Thanksgiving coming up I wanted to talk about some of the things I'm thankful for of course! And if I don't start now I will probably be late, so better early than late!
I'm thankful that my husband went to get me a cherry coke and that we can laugh together and enjoy each other's company and that I know he loves me and wants the best for his family!
I'm thankful that I serve a merciful God that knows I need his mercy and willingly gives it to me!
And of course I'm thankful that His mercy endures forever (Psalm 136)!
I'm thankful that I can read the Bible where ever I want, in my home, in public or online, yes I'm thankful for an online Bible that I can search!
I'm thankful for my oldest child, who is still so innocent and full of joy!
I'm thankful for oldest son, who loves deeply and feels all things intensely!
I'm thankful for my middle son, who is not afraid to express himself!
I'm thankful for my youngest child, who is not yet walking or talking, yet strives to investigate all things and manages to let us know when he wants something!
I'm thankful for my two loving parents who have always been there for me!
I'm thankful for my sister who is always so thoughtful and caring!
I'm thankful for my grandparents (on my Mother's side) that live such a Godly example of life!
I'm thankful for my grandparents (on my Father's side) that they are with Jesus in heaven and I will see them again one day!
I'm thankful for my all of my relatives both through blood and marriage and that I have no enemies among them (but if I do let me know so I can fix that ;)!
I'm thankful for my loyal dog Lily!
I'm thankful that I have a house to live in, a car to drive around in, clothes to wear and food to eat.
I'm thankful that I can say sorry and ask forgiveness when I mess up (daily)!
I'm thankful that I started this post early and am now going to call it as finished as it will probably get before Thanksgiving and thence publish said post! And no I don't normally ever use the word thence, but for some reason it popped on the screen as I typed!
Praying that everyone has a wonderful, enjoyable, yummy, conflict free Thanksgiving!

Not Me Monday

I'm definitely not starting this post on Saturday so I can have it ready to go for Monday morning! Because seriously if you knew me you know I don't do things early~ seriously! I also did not get excited that I had 6 comments on one of my posts this week, that would be silly, because you know getting comments is no big deal!
I'm not loving having my laptop out in the living room (instead of the old desktop in the bedroom) so that I can watch my kids and 'surf' at the same time. Because it's not like I work on the computer!
When I noticed it was getting dark out the other night I did not ask my older children to keep an eye on my baby so I could run out and do some yard work! And that yard work did not consist of picking up dog poop and my 3 yr old did not bring his magnadoodle along to keep track of how much poop I picked up, because seriously all of that would be irresponsible and crazy! Oh yeah and my baby didn't pound on his low level window in his room the whole time watching us, because that would have made me feel guilty for leaving him in there! And did I mention that we didn't have dinner late because I didn't do all of that!
And last night at 11 pm I didn't start to make chocolate chip cookies for my hubby and me just to realize I was out of baking soda! Because if that happened I wouldn't send my hubby to the store at 11pm for baking soda for cookies because that would be ridiculous and we didn't eat a plate full of them because you know I'm trying to lose weight!
And I most certainly didn't start typing this post early thinking I would be one of the earlier ones to post just to go see that over 60 people have already put their names in Mr. Linky!
And I'm NOT editing this because I didn't want to throw in that today my littlest guy is 10 months old! Ten months ago today I was not in serious and excruciating pain! And I was not looking for an excuse to show you all this picture I took the other day!


But I do most certainly want everybody to have a super blessed day today!

Just for the Record

Just wanted to put it on record that tomorrow my baby will be 10 months old and he is now finally crawling up on his hands and knees ( as opposed to army crawling) and he is officially practicing standing alone and evening 'attempting' steps as he practices! Just had to put it down, for the record!

My Children's Names!

So I was thinking to use 'false names' for children here since my blog is open for anybody to read. But I'm not happy with all of the names I have up now. And as my Mom pointed out Golem means fool or something similar....it is a pokemon character he likes but.....anyways........My point is that I will be changing them when I change my header after Thanksgiving! I've not figured out exactly what I will put. Sissy may be the only one to stay the same, since she is called that in real life by her three brothers (well two of them since one doesn't talk yet)! Or perhaps her's will change too. You just never know. I'm not very creative with words, so I will have to do some thinking. I'm wondering how many of 'you' use real names for your children?

Not Me Monday!

I was going to write a post up last night for today and I got tired... If you don't know what Not Me Monday is head on over to MckMama's blog and check it out! I'm not good at remembering all the little details, but writing these makes me search my mind for some of the terrific and not so terrific moments of life!

There is absolutely no way I'm watching CSI at the same time I'm typing this, because I don't watch TV, and I definitely don't blog and watch shows I've recorded at the same time!

I definitely didn't ignore the fact that my boys were playing in their beds for an hour tonight after they laid down, because if I'd ignored that then they would think it was okay, so I didn't do that!

I went for a walk tonight, but I didn't take the baby because the sun was down and it was chilly so there is no way I would have bundled him up and taken him for a walk after dark, nope I would have left him inside with his Daddy.

I did not look in the fridge tonight and notice we have nothing left to drink but water. Nope because if I'd seen that I would have rushed to the store, so I didn't see that!

And I never think of great "Not Me Monday" ideas during the week and then completely forget them and therefore never write the really great ones! Okay, maybe I do!

International Babywearing Week

Well International Babywearing week was actually last week, I had heard but it didn't dawn on me to make a post about it till last night..but I had to get a picture first! I like wearing my babies, I had been given a snugli (or similar) a try with my first 9 years ago, but didn't get far with that. For some reason when I was pregnant with my third child I found out a lot more about natural parenting ideas including babywearing, cloth diapering, and co-sleeping. That doesn't mean I do it all, all the time. But we babywear when it is convenient (I have a stroller too)! I have a hotsling(bounding blossoms) and a mei tai that I made. Here is a picture of us today at the park in my mei tai.
















And because I've had so much of little Joshy lately, let me try and find one of the rest of them...
Well this is the best for all four (or three) of them together I can do!

Tuesday I bought my little baby a push toy to walk behind from the consignment shop! I brought it home and he started practicing right away! Here is some 'footage' of the events as they happened!



And just because I like it and like to share here is a picture of him the same day looking...well...you tell me!


And speaking of the very active one, he just woke up and is lounging on his Daddy on the couch, bottle in hand, watching some Ultimate Fighting!

I think it is time for me to sneak off to sleep!

Not me Monday!

Okay I absolutely did not almost forget it was not me Monday! And I haven't just not bothered to update my MckMama button on the side to the MckMiracle button. And last night when my husband asked me if I needed anything from the store, I didn't say "Yes, diapers! I'm tired of washing these cloth ones!" And I most certainly am not sick for the second time in about a month and feeling so tired that I've not cleaned the bathrooms in over a week (think two little boys). Oh yeah and did I mention that my kitchen is sparkling clean, because I would never let my kitchen get dirty! Oh but one thing is for sure, I'm going to jump off this computer and go straighten up before my hubby gets home from work, of course this isn't happening only because my children have no homework I need to help them with because there is no school tomorrow!

My Lil' Baby!

Well I still haven't gotten around to finishing up the Halloween pictures... see I need them back in their costumes for a few better shots, especially two of them....but anyhow I've got something else for you now! Joshua decided to do something new this morning! And I quickly grabbed the camera so you could see! This is video taken with a camera so there is no light and no sound. But you should be able to tell what he is doing! By the way he did 'this' a half a dozen times before I laid him down for his nap! And I thought he was trying to say 'Hi' too!


And yes his shirt is on backwards due to his big brother putting it on him this morning and you did catch a glimpse of his butt due to his pants pulling at his big cloth diapered bottom!

Trick or Treat?

Which one do you prefer? I myself much prefer a treat, but a trick now and then is okay! Well I was going to post some pictures of our candy hunting adventures! But went I went to upload our pictures there were a bunch of pictures taken just today that I didn't know about! See I was off visiting my parents with the children and my sweet hubby was left to his own devices! So this is what he did!

He washed and waxed his car that he is so very proud of( isn't it shiny, you can see the clouds in it), but it doesn't stop there! He took pictures! In fact he took nine of them to be exact! And did you realize this is my trick for the night...I'm telling on him and making you wait another day(or two) to see our candy hunting adventures!

Happy Birthday MOM (just a little late)!!! We all love you, you are the best Mom ever! Thank you for putting up with me for so long!!

Not Me Monday !

I'll give this Not Me Monday a try!

I didn't rush to get the two older kids to school, so I could come home and watch cartoons with the little ones this morning!

I didn't 'mow' half my lawn with a weedeater today, just to realize my extension cord did not reach far enough to finish!

I did not just read a gazillion blogs linked at MckMama's page to help me think of 'not me' ideas!

I did not just have my 7 yr old run and shut a door so that Tubber wouldn't crawl in, even though I was closer to the door than he was!

When I told my daughter it was bath time last night and she said she didn't need one because she already got wet washing the car with Daddy, I didn't say okay!

And I surely did not just keep writing this post even though I just noticed my 9 month old was grabbing his full diaper that obviously needed changing. And yes I said 9 months old, which you should all know because I surely didn't forget to write a post to commemorate his 9 month birthday, because I didn't forget that it was already the 24th!

Students of the Week

Guess what? Sissy got student of the week last week! She is the perfect little student for her teacher, she always listens, she is quiet in class and can do most of her work without a problem. She would never talk back and she tries to help others when they need it! Her first very month of Kindergarten she got student of the month! She is just that kind of girl =)!

Guess what else? Golem got student of the week this week! Can you believe that I have two kids in school and they got student of the week two weeks in a row! This year is the first time he has been in public school (homeschooling before) and he has come a long way in the past couple of months! He is always sweet and trying to please, but he has gone from sitting around staring into space, to actually finishing his work early! And he has gone from hating school to really liking it!

I'm very proud of my two students!

And my other little student (Blondie) is progressing at home too! He knows all but one or two of his letters and mostly knows their order! We are working on sounds and he knows a few! His is also enjoying puzzles lately!

I better go start getting things ready for the weekend activities!

See my new Header?

Of course you see it! It is right there after all! Isn't it great? And those kids are cute too! Well I want to say thank you to Jennisa over at Once Upon a Blog. She was sweet to do a header for the winner of a contest MckMama had! Thank you ladies!

And thank you Mom for sending me the pics so I had something to put in the header!

I just finished feeding my little Tubber a baby bowl full of mixed grains cereal and almost a full container of YoBaby Apple Yogurt! He loves to eat (and drink)! It almost time for his nap and then I will play with Blondie for a bit and then hopefully do a little cleaning around here! There are toys all over the place, not to mention laundry and dishes and papers and books and..... I'll stop at that!

Tubber

I forgot to update on Tubber's appointment! His doctor called and changed the date, so he went on Friday! He actually had lost a half a pound or so and now weighs 22.5 lbs. I forgot to get his actually height, but know that he is in the 75th percentile for height and 90th percentile for weight! He got 4 shots and was not happy, but hasn't had any reactions or fever from them. He goes back in a month for a follow up flu shot! With two kids in public school this year I opted for him to get it! Basically he is ahead of the milestones and doing great!

I Won

Guess what ? I won a contest over at MckMama's blog! I get some cool DVD's for my Curly headed child (and I'm sure Tubber will like them sooner or later) and a new blog header coming soon! So I am going to start posting more!
This morning when I woke up and went outside it was cold! Okay I'm sure to some of your standards it wasn't cold at all! But for my Floridian standards it was downright chilly out there, in the low 60's and it is currently still in the 70's~ which is just perfect!

I've got to get a new camera!
We are having a rather lazy today, though I will run to the store in a bit and work on the neverending laundry! To me the hardest part about laundry is getting all folded or hung up!
My hubby is supposed to wash his car today! Since he got a new car he really tries to keep it clean. Last week he was sweet enough to wash and polish my van too!
Last Friday Sissy went to ZooBoo at the local Zoo with her Girl Scout troop! She did all the scary things and then went on a pony ride! She loves rollercoasters and adventure! She has an awesome troop that does lots of fun things!
Next weekend my hubby and Golem are going tent camping with Boyscouts! My hubby is not the camper type so I can't wait to hear how it goes!

Blogging

Well I've done lousy at writing on here lately. That was due to partly to the fact that we moved and I've been working online and partly to the fact I don't believe anybody is actually reading this ! So if anybody is please leave a comment, because I need encouragement to keep it up ! I want to keep it up, I want for this to be a mini journal /record keeping log, that is hopefully at least slightly interesting ! I mean that is what a blog is right? A place to record all the facts of your life and thoughts from your head and whatever nonsense that might come out of your head and flow into your fingers to be typed and put into cyberspace for all to read!

Anyways, I'm going to update sometime tomorrow or the next day about my baby boy, because he has a doctor's appointment tomorrow afternoon ! So for all of my two readers, don't forget to check back !

Baby Time

Well I'm soooooo sorry I can't show you some new pictures. Still need to get a new camera! My Dad & Mom took some last week and whenever she uploads them, I'll share some!
But let me tell you what he can do now! He can army crawl on his elbows and go and try and bite the dog's leg. Luckily Lily (the dog) has learned to leave when she sees him coming! He can also push himself to a sitting position! He just did this today for the first time and he did it twice! He can also hold his own bottle, unless he is to sleepy or needy! And his two little front bottom teeth are really starting to show! Okay that is all for now on my little Joshy (whom I swore I'd never call that)!

So I am testing to be a guide to make a few extra bucks, only a few, it definitely can not make me rich, but maybe it can help buy a few Christmas Presents, hopefully =)!

Boxes

Well we are moving in two weeks! And I have to start packing!! So far I've managed to pack two small boxes and half of one big one. I can't wait to have more space(especially a gargage and an attic) . In case you don't know we live in a 3 bedroom apartment right now and are moving to a 4 bedroom house! One of the problems right now with packing is where to put the boxes? All of our things are so smooshed (yes that is word) in here that boxes create a problem. And I don't want to stack them anywhere near where the baby might be playing! Of course he is sleeping right now so I better get busy =)!

Pictures & Names

Well I love 'messing' with pictures. I can't say I'm that good at photography, but I like making things with the pictures I have. Actually I'm very dissappointed my camera is broken! I hope we are able to get a new one soon! My wonderful got our photoshop back up and running! And also someone from my online playgroup told me about scrapblog.com . So I've been over there creating things. I think I may start fixing my pics on photoshop and then doing the digital scrapbooking thing over there! I did most of the banner at scrapblog.

That leads me to discuss the nicknames I've put on the banner. I've been wanting to pick some names to use on here for my children. We already call the little one Tubber sometimes and my daughter gets called Sissy by the other children. My older boy I had a harder time with... and I may change =), but his is the name of a pokemon (and he loves pokemon) and then well of course Blondie is blonde (and curly which was another possibility)! So I will try and add little tidbits about them and their ages and such on the sidebar sometimes soon (which could mean days or weeks).
Meanwhile I better get some sleep!

Why?

Sometimes you just have to ask God why?? WHY? Why does he let things happen to innocent children? I know somewhere inside of me that God has his reasons and often it is because of tragedy that people may be drawn to Him and learn to depend on Him and seek Him when they otherwise weren't. I have seen the faith of those whom tragedy has hit be a an amazing witness for Christ! But it is still unbelievable and hard to fathom! I posted a bit ago about little Sully losing his battle with leukemia and then I just read yesterday about little Dozer . No matter how a child may die it is one of the saddest things I can imagine and it does make me cherish mine all the more!

Computer Geeks and IPods

Well my husband is an IT guy and is always messing with our computers! And we get a 'new' to us computer about twice year. Usually because he is upgrading or something went wrong. So he switched to a different computer two days ago and I just reinstalled itunes and went to play a song and I had to give permission for this computer to play it. Well guess what that was my 5th computer! I'm not allowed anymore!!! I have an ipod too! So if anyone can tell me a player that I can use to upload to the ipod that isn't going to limit my computer use that would be great!! Otherwise this computer better not go anywhere for awhile =)!

Third Day

Not the band, but I do like them. Well I went to wake up my son for his third day of school and already he doesn't want to go! I can't believe it! I'm disappointed too! I want to protect him and keep him from any 'pain' he may feel at school. He told me this morning he got lost at PE yesterday. Basically he got left! I'm not ready to pull him out and homeschool him again quite yet! But still I was hoping for him to really like it. Mind you he is the shy and quiet type, though he can get quite loud at times! My daughter does seem to be liking her teacher and class okay though. SO that is good news! And my little 3 yr old is loving doing his school at home! He asks me if we can do it! Right now he is watching his Leapfrog ABC movie. Better go get a few other things done, while he is still watching!

A Busy Few Days

Well it has been crazy the past few days! Saturday I took two of the kids to a party 30 min away for 3 hours then came home and got ready to take my 7 yr old boy to a spend the night party at the Florida Aquarium! And yes I spent the night too =)! It was all really awesome, except for the sleeping on a very hard floor part! But where we slept was super neat, I'll put up some pics so you can see! And then when we came home yesterday about noon I got ready and took my oldest and my baby out to finish the school shopping! Because today was there first day back to 'normal' school in two years! And guess what.......... there is no school tomorrow! Hurricane Day! I'm not worried yet though, it doesn't look like it will be too bad here. And now for what you really want to see...
